Holiday location PDF Print E-mail

Zadar airport is a special one due to the planes crossing over the public route.

Aircraft in Zadar must cross this route when going from runway to apron or vice-versa. We have been there during holiday charter flights to Croatia. It’s really amazing to see from the plane’s windows cars staying in the queue, just as they would before a railway crossing. In Zadar airport there is also another runway, which is shorter. Using this one does not require crossing over this route. If anybody has been to Gibraltar they could see the public route crossing over the runway itself.

Bike charter PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 29 May 2007 00:00
At the end of April we run a charter flight to Bornholm island. It was on our route to Sweden for maintenance services and it was a special charter flight because of the number of bikes we transported. We left our passenger on the island of Bornholm. They were five days there which they more then likely spent cycling up and down the island. We collected them in a state of tiredness but with suntanned and happy faces. In the meantime we carried out all forms of maintenance that we required. It was a great idea, but next time we organize such a trip we will take more passengers instead of transporting bikes. We will ask our passengers to rent bicycles on site.
Who knows, maybe next time we will go via Gotland island.
