On Sunday 21st of September 2008, Sky Taxi performed a very unusual flight. On that particular day we took a group of 22 children from children's homes from our region, together with their carers, to LEGOLAND in Billund, Denmark. Children participants of that trip were prizewinners of the artistic competition about aviation, organized by SkyTaxi in May. As promised, Sky Taxi arranged the trip for the competition winners to the fantastic place, which is Legoland.

The event started at 8:00AM in the departure hall of the Wroclaw Airport. On the screen there was already information about departure time and the destination LEGOLAND. For almost everyone it was the first time travelling on a plane, so apart from the final destination, the air journey itself was very exciting as well.

On board there was an awards ceremony, special occasion diplomas and 3 prizes and surprises.

During the visit to Legoland, the children were overwhelmed with excitement and had the most enjoyable day from start to finish. This confirmed that we had arranged a successful trip in every way. But if you need to play so hard, you need to be well refreshed, with good pizza, for instance!

Amongst the numerous attractions, we discovered something that connected Sky Taxi with Legoland. However, unfortunately the size of our Saab 340 did not allow us to operate into that airport!

At the end of the day, the children arrived back in Wroclaw extremely happy and tired from their special trip.
